Communities
Separated from Washington D.C. by the Lincoln Memorial Bridge, Arlington is the second smallest county in the United States and is the most urban of Virginia's counties.
The Ballston Metro Center, Sequoia Plaza, Stafford Place and the Crystal City Underground have given the county a reputation of "Little Manhattan".
With a strong city ambience, the county offers an exciting vitality and appeals to the urban minded. Arlington features a variety of housing choices with residential areas that are defined by their charm and distinctive character.
Although there are no incorporated towns within the county, development areas such as Rosslyn and Crystal City offer concentrated communities for both high rise residential and commercial use.
